What is ECO4?
The UK Government’s Energy Company Obligation, known as the ECO4 scheme is an energy efficiency initiative aimed at tackling fuel poverty and promoting the reduction of carbon emissions.
The ongoing ECO4 Scheme extends until 2026, and is financed by the major UK Energy Companies. It offers fully funded grants to enhance the efficiency of residential properties.
These grants encompass a range of measures, including full on and off gas heating systems, gas boiler upgrades, air source heat pumps, as well as insulation measures like loft, cavity wall, room in roof, and internal wall insulation.
It is FREE to apply for the ECO4 scheme and the grant will be applied for you by one of our approved Trustmark Installers.
How It Works
Am I eligible for the ECO4 scheme?
Energy efficiency measures are accessible under the ECO4 scheme for both homeowners and private tenants. To qualify, at least one resident in the property must receive one of the qualifying benefits below.
Additionally, the property must have an energy efficiency rating of an E or below.
The measures implemented in the project must enhance the overall property efficiency rating by at least 2 SAP bands, achieving a rating of D or higher.
